Customer service and message procedures enhance customer service information processing including storage of pertinent forms and documents, tracking of processes and events, and retrieval of this information for display, mailing and reproduction.

1.1.Configuring Warnings #

Purpose

Use this procedure to:

  • Display alerts when several new conditions apply to a property.
  • Notify users of events that have occurred.

Prerequisite

  • In order to perform this procedure, the following user right is required:
    • Codefile Maintenance > General > Property Group Codes

Procedure

  1. In PACS.ADMIN, choose Tools > Code File Maintenance. The open the General category and select Property Group Codes.
  2. In the Property Group Codes dialog box, click Add

Complete the following options as required

  • Code

A unique value identifying a group code.

  • Description

A description of the group code.

  • Comments

Any comments attached to the group code.

  • Notify Role

Specifies for what role the warning needs to be displayed: Treasurer, Assessor, Both, or None

  • Notify When Present

Indicates whether a notify when present attribute should be attached to the property group code.

Notify in REET

Indicates whether a notify when present in REET attribute should be attached to the property group code.

  1. Click Save. Then click Close.

1.2.Configuring Global Sign-in Messages #

Purpose

Use this procedure to configure global alerts for all users by notifications and warnings system-wide.

Prerequisite

  • In order to perform this procedure, the following user right is required:
    • PACS Administrator > Global Sign-In Messaging

Procedure

  • In PACS.ADMIN, choose Tools > Global Sign-In Messaging.
  • In the Global Sign-In Messaging dialog box, click Add.

In the Details section, complete the following options as required:

  • Title

A title for the notification.

  • Message

The notification message to display to the user.

  • Begin Date

The date on which to begin sending the notification to users.

  • End Date

The date on which to stop sending the notification to users.

  • Click Exclude Users.
  • In the Exclude User dialog box, in the Select Users column, select the users to be excluded from receiving the notification, and click the arrow to move them to the Excluded Users column.

  • Click OK. Then click Close.
