1.Creating Event Source Codes #

Purpose

Use this procedure to set event source codes.

Source codes can be used, for example, to indicate that an event was triggered by an external source, such as a Web site.

Prerequisites

  • In order to perform this procedure, the following user right is required:
    • Codefile Maintenance > Event Source Type Maintenance

Procedure

  1. Browse to the PACS Application Button, choose Tools > Code File Maintenance > General > Event Source Codes.

  2. In the Event Source Codes dialog box, click Add Add and enter the ID for the code. Then enter a description.
  3. Click Save.

2.Creating Event Type Codes #

Purpose

Use this procedure to set event type codes.

Prerequisites

  • In order to perform this procedure, the following user right is required:
    • Code Maintenance > Event Type Maintenance

Procedure

  1. Browse to the PACS Application Button , choose Tools > Code File Maintenance > General > Event Type Codes.

  2. In the Event Source Codes dialog box, click Add Add and enter the ID for the code. Then enter a description.
  3. Click Save.
  4. In the Details section, complete the following as required:
    • Appeal Flag – check box indicates if event code is associated with an Appeal
    • Event Source – Drop down of Source Code created in Code Maintenance
    • Generated By – S = System; U = User
    • Inactive – check box indicates that code is inactive; if checked will not be in drop down fields.
    • Must have the “View User Right Event” user right to see this Event
    • Sys Flag – True/False indicator to reflect if this is a system event
    • System Type = A or C (Appraisal or Collection package)
    • Type = AG – Agent, AR, ARbitrator, AT – Attorney, LN – Lien, MO – Mortgage Company, OW – Owner, P – Property
    • System Type
  5. Click Save.

3.Creating and Viewing Events at Property Level #

Purpose

Use this procedure to view events in a property record.

Procedure

  1. Open a property record and expand the Events panel.

  2. Click Details in the Events grid toolbar to view details of an event.
  3. Click Green Plus to add an Event in the grid toolbar.
  4. Click Red X to remove an Event in the grid toolbar.
  5. To display more of the event description column, choose Expand Descriptions in the Events grid toolbar.

  • General
    • Event Type – shows code selected from Code Maintenance
    • Date – reflects date of event
    • User – reflects user who created event
    • Description – this is an open text for user to add information about the event
    • Event Source – shows code selected from Code Maintenance
  • Event Objects – user may attach objects to an event, for example a letter)
    • Click Green Plus sign to create an object.
      • User is prompted to add a file.
    • User can Open or Print object by clicking on ‘Print’ and ‘Open’ objects.
  • Properties – this reflects which property the event is associated.
    • User may add additional properties to the event by clicking the Green Plus sign. This will render a standard Property Search dialog box.

4.Generating Miscellaneous Event Report #

Purpose

Allows user to generate report to view events by event type.

Procedure

  1. Browse to PACS Application Button, choose Reports > Events > Miscellaneous Events Report.
  2. In the Miscellaneous Events Report Dialog box, select the dates during which events occurred in the Begin Date and End Date fields.
  3. Then use the Event Type code chooser to select one of more events.

  4. In the Output Settings section, do the following:
    • In the Format drop-down list, select the report output format.
    • In the Filename field, enter the report file name.
    • In the Description field, enter a report description.
  5. Click Preview to preview the report. Click Post to generate the report and create a PACS inbox item from which you can view the report.
